It only just came to my attention that back in October, L.A. Weekly magazine chose Robin Jackson, an Elemental Mixology alumna (of an early 2014 Standard Mixing Course), as Los Angeles’ best bartender.

Excellent, though I’m a little peeved that it’s in the Outer Rim of the (310), just like Greg’s bar in the Wallace!
At least if I do make it down there to try one, I can do a “bar-crawl” to the other! At least Nancy Kwon at the Copper Still is within easy striking distance.
Andrew: Did you notice that Greg’s gotten some management approval to refer to the Wallce bar’s mixed drinks as tipples, whilst reserving “cocktail” only for those that are actually bittered slings? Baby steps, baby steps! 🙂
